ZISA Awards: Ohio Building Trades Councils Win National Safety Awards

ACT Ohio member councils and their contractors were honored at the 2019 Zero Injury Safety Awards (ZISA) Gala, held Oct. 24 at Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

The ZISA Awards, presented annually by the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee, are the nation’s most prestigious construction-safety awards. ZISA Awards honor the efforts of owner-clients, contractors, and the Building Trades for achieving zero injuries on job sites.

The ZISA Awards demonstrate how strong working partnerships between Ohio’s Building Trades, signatory contractors, and owner-investors keep Ohio’s skilled tradespeople safe while delivering the highest quality craftsmanship on construction projects.
