This counselor training program was developed by Affiliated Construction Trades Ohio Foundation (ACT Ohio) and TradesFutures in cooperation with the Ohio State Board of Education, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, and the Ohio School Counselor Association. School counselors currently working with Ohio students in grades 7-12 whose school counselor license expires on June 30, 2026 or after must complete 4-hours of construction trades apprenticeship training at an approved JATC Apprenticeship Training Center.
