Two Cleveland UA apprentices from Pipefitters Local 120 earned first place at the 2015 UA Regional Apprenticeship contest held in Indianapolis earlier this month.
Apprentices Jim Primozic and Brian Price proved to be the region’s best of the best in the Pipefitting and Sprinklerfitting trades, respectively. The two displayed the best craftsmanship to go along with high scores on their written examination.
Both tests are designed to challenge the apprentices and what they have learned up to this point in their careers. The education, safety training, and craftsmanship each displayed in Indianapolis is a reflection on their dedication to commitment and quality – traits that will serve them well in the future.
Their training at the Pipefitters Local 120 JATC in Cleveland has not only positioned them to win a national title, but to succeed throughout their careers.
The victories by Primozic and Price ensure both men will be taking a trip to the National Championships, which will be held in Ann Arbor, Mich., in August.
ACT Ohio congratulates Jim and Brian on a job well done and wishes them the best in August.
