ACT Ohio is comprised of 14 different regional Building and Construction Trades Councils (BCTC), which are composed of local unions and District Councils.
Ohio’s small towns, growing suburbs, and urban cities are all represented at the state level through the comprehensive work of their respective Building and Construction Trades Councils. Whether they represent hundreds of members or thousands, Ohio’s Regional Building Trade Councils work to promote the industry.
Each BCTC is dedicated to ensuring their union members provide highly skilled craftsmanship on every project; providing enhanced value to the client. By working with contractors and project owners, the BCTC ensure the success of the collective bargaining process.
BCTC leaders also help educate potential project owners and contractors on the benefits of using trained, qualified affiliate members on project of any size.
Members of BCTCs live and work in their communities and care deeply about the issues affecting each region. From volunteer opportunities to endorsing local candidates, BCTC members always have the best interest of the communities – and their members working in it – on their minds.
