IBEW Local 688 celebrated 100 years of service on May 18, 2017. Currently representing 170 construction electricians and 20 CenturyLink technicians, the local has members in Ashland, Crawford, Morrow, and Richland counties and parts of Huron, Knox and Wyandot counties.
Members celebrated with a dinner on May 27, and by honoring Bob Hoover, their oldest member at 93 years old. Bob retired in 1989.
